About Me

Hey, I’m Pat, and this is a little bit about me and my life. I was born and raised in the Pottstown/Boyertown area. My parents before me lived in New York and came to Pennsylvania to start a family. They had my older sister first, and then they had me (an artist). Went to the Boyertown area school district and had an amazing childhood. After school, I had an opportunity to go to an Art School, but I turned it down. I like to learn different subjects of art throughout life, and on my own as well. That’s how I started, and that’s how I am a very self-efficient person. So, as of right now, I’m just working a full-time job, and this is on the side. Hopefully one day I can just do art full-time!

Throughout my life, I have been a creative person, starting from when I was young to now as a full adult. Started drawing first, and then started painting by the age of 12. I painted acrylics for almost all my teenage years. Then took a drawing class which helped me understand perspective and values studies. Today I love watercolors, don’t worry I also draw too. I was currently looking into different subject matters to focus on.

My inspirations are from many of the masters’ paintings to impressionist paintings. I also love comic book illustrations as well. As for my work, I’d say my art style is more of my own. I’m by far not a master of the arts, but I do have the artist “eye,” and can look at a different subject and break down the different values and colors of said subject. I also reference a lot from life as well. Everyday things like fruit, buildings, people, literally anything you look out into the world are my inspiration.
